It’s ‘this’ time of year (those who know, know 😉). Shame there was no one at the cottage this week to see the amazing display over at West Pentire, which is only a very PICTURESQUE 20 minute walk from the village.

Our next availability is end of June and then only one other week between now and September 😱

Well what a bank holiday weekend it’s been here in Crantock ☀️🏄‍♀️🍻⛱️🥵!!

Wall to wall sunshine, people in the sea (without wetsuits 😳), waves and a lovely Sunday afternoon vibe between the pubs with people enjoying the weekly Sunday afternoon band in the sunshine 🎶

Only downside for many was the ridiculous beach car park queues 🚗🚗🚗🚗😫. Didn’t get a photo of this 😎

HOWEVER if you book Churchtown Cottage, we are walking distance to either end of the beach - the quiet far end, or the more lively Fern Pit (car park) end. The choice is yours!!

After finally securing a last minute booking for this week, we now have 6 nights available from Sat 30-May. 5 or 4 night stays also on offer next week.

We’ve been enjoying the amazing weather down on the south coast today …. Helford Passage, one of our favs and a dip in the river at Durgan afterwards.

The rest of this week is STILL available, the cottage is all good to go after a ‘last minute booking’ which ended up not happening 😕…..

With the weather looking like it’s totally hotting up for the bank holiday weekend AND into half term week - thought we’d share how you could be spending it 😎☀️🏄….

Sad that no one got to enjoy the glorious weather we’ve been having while staying at Churchtown cottage this week - the up side for me being its given me chance to do a good garden tidy up and touch up the sash windows which were looking a little tired.

We’re getting pretty booked up now for the summer - only availability left as below …

The stunning views from Fern Pit cafe are a treat to the eyes.

The cafe is currently open but only accessible from the Newquay side. It’s usually mid May when the ferry and bridge are opened up from Crantock Beach to access direct from ‘our side of the river’.

We can not wait to bask in the sunshine and enjoy these views in this sunny sheltered spot. One of our fav things to do!
