It’s almost feels like one of those an ‘Endless Summers’ and if you believe the news next year might be even warmer 😳😳😳

Over the last week we have seen some welcomed patches of the old wet stuff and while the garden at the cottage is still somewhat dry, there are some little flowers still hanging in there trying to brighten up the corners and beds 🌼🌺🌸

As we near the end of July I can only say WOW what a summer so far. We are fully booked until the end of October with all our lovely guests, some new, many returners, but we are already taking bookings for next summer, so get in touch if you want to reserve and book something now 📆 availability and prices accessible on our website.

I have witnessed lots of cars desperately trying to find somewhere to park to use the beach (as the beach car park is usually full by 9 at this time of year - sometimes earlier 😳) - but if you stay with us, there’s none of that. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast ‘al fresco’ in our sunny little garden, then saunter down Beach Road at your leisure - past all the queueing cars, all the way up the road…. smiling happily …. and a little bit smugly to yourself 😉😂👌

Scenes that remind me of summers long gone last Friday evening over on Great Western Beach, Newquay.

Those long, warm, lazy summers that seemed to go on forever? This was going back a fair way - we’re talking 70’s/80’s 🥴

Churchtown Cottage is in Crantock which is only a short drive or bus journey to Newquay. Some like to walk over too!

It’s been truly gorgeous down at Crantock Beach over the last week or so. This is the view the lovely guys at Flotsam Coffee get on a daily basis when the ambo is parked up on the beach. If coffee and cake is your thing this place is for you … their sandwiches and other goodies are also very highly recommended!!

In other news Churchtown Cottage is now fully booked until October 😱😱😱. So thank you to all our lovely guests who have booked with us new and repeat we are keeping everything crossed for a continuation of this amazing summer for you.

Our 2027 tariff is now available to view on our website with some weeks already gone, so check us out if you want a dog friendly, competitively priced (compared to other cottages and caravans in Crantock) with allocated parking, a lovely sheltered south facing garden, close to the village pub and shop and walking distance to THIS VIEW!! No beach car park queue shenanigans if you stay with us ✔️👌🏝️
