Hi Guys, please makesure you’re doing the basic things right to ensure you keep warm and not have to call a plumber/gas engineer out.

Today I’ve been to 2 properties where tenants have got stuff piled up over the gas meters causing the gas valve handle to be knocked off.

Check your condense pipe isn’t froze if it goes outside, generally that will be the cause.

Any outside taps make sure there isolated, I’ve been to 4 bursts in the last week alone where people have had the inside of the house flooded.

This will save you money and call out fees.

🚰Todays job outside tap fitting.🚰
It is really important, when having an outside tap fitted you’re having an NVQ WRAS fully qualified and insured Plumber install your outside taps. This needs to be done properly and fitted with the right materials and correct valves. As I have had to come and repair so much faulty work lately!

Is your toilet constantly running into the pan? Is it not flushing properly? Or taking a while to fill back up? If so It’s possible you’ll need a new ball valve and siphon, here’s an example of an old one and a new one fitted this week. 🚽 🔧 🪠
