Loft is now insulated and boarded - aka roof sauna! But wow has that made a difference to cooling down the bedrooms to work in. The stilts worked a treat. Just lighting to go in then job done👍

Adhesive fail. We have had a catastrophe though, we’ve had many boards not bonded to the walls. Currently being investigated by Siniat as many are loose, and have already been plastered. Didn’t make a difference to the substrate as it’s occurred on both new and old walls, with old walls having plenty of prep (blue grit). Had to halt for the moment until this is resolved - big setback to timeline though.

It’s been a full on couple of week with a hive of activity. Lots of progress and great to see things taking shape.

Insulation on the pitched almost finished
Door linings prepped for dry liners
Plastering downstairs rooms
Dry lining
Toilet frame fitting
Shower former fitted
1st fit plumbing almost done
Electrician staying ahead 2nd fixing
Stilts, insulation and loft platforms started

All of this with hard core tradies in the sweltering heat ☀️ 🥵

Anglian Water made us so happy yesterday, we had the water meter heightened, and connected to the new pipework we installed and we are official on our plumber mains water - 💦 doing a dance!! 🕺
