Properties in Cwmbran used to take upto six weeks to rent with an average of 40-50 properties on the market at any one time.
Due to the new Hospital coming on line along with the new university this has caused a major rental shortage.
The average property available on the market now at anyone time is two or three with upto twenty people chasing them as soon as they come on they let within two days.
This has also pushed up the monthly rental between £100-£200 plus depending on size.
My advice is if you find a rental you like don’t hold back because it will be gone.

The start of November we have ONE property to let in Cwmbran....The demand for rental property in Cwmbran is very high and only going to get worse with the new hospital and university coming on line. The average property used to take three weeks to let, we are now finding they are letting within just a few days.
