A incredible night at the Deal Jazz and Blues....at the Revitalise the Landmark Centre
It was a real honour to play some of Martin Speake's music - to work with him and drummer Tristan Mailliot....Two musicians I have wanted to work with for years. I was blessed to play with both last night. Incredible bass playing from Steve Bridgland. thank you to all who came out to support the concert

Martin Speake:
Martin is as comfortable playing personal interpretations of the music of Charlie Parker with his quartet, free improvising with drummer Mark Sanders, playing standard ballads in duet with Ethan Iverson and Indian music with Dharambir Singh and Sarvar Sabri.
He has recorded 23 cds under his own name of diverse projects including the internationally acclaimed ECM release Change Of Heart with Paul Motian, Bobo Stenson and Mick Hutton and Intention (Ubuntu Records) in 2018 with Ethan Iverson, Fred Thomas and James Maddren.

Tristan Mailliot
He has played with numerous leading international stars such as Jim Hall, Stacey Kent, Clare Martin, Jim Mullen, Fred Hersch, Martin Taylor, Stan Tracey, Steve Grossman, Norma Winstone and Bobby Wellins.

We’re thrilled to announce we’re playing the fourth annual Cranbrook Town Music Festival – CRANFEST 24! The festival takes place on 5-7 September and hosts 30 world class bands, ranging from folk, to rock, to blues, to jazz, all in venues on the Cranbook High Street, and we’re onstage at 6.45 pm on Saturday 7 September, on the Vestry Hall stage..
