One of our favourite eateries, 10 minutes from Oak View at Bryn Morfydd, is
Well known as the home of informal, social dining in Ruthin. They serve Tapas ‘style’ food, sharing platters & yummy cocktails and the staff are absolutely lovely. A recipe for a lovely lunch or a good night out. We highly recommend! 🌟

A great option for a lovely day out from Oak View is a visit to Portmeirion, which is an elegant village designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925 and 1975 in the style of an Italian village. It is now owned by a charitable trust and is a really popular destination for visitors to North Wales. Portmeirion has been used as the location for numerous films and television shows, most famously as “The Village” in the 1960s television show The Prisoner.
