Why do periodic property reports matter? 🏡

Because a lot can change between check-in and check-out.

Periodic property reports create a clear record of a property’s condition throughout the tenancy, helping landlords and letting agents spot potential issues early and build a stronger evidence trail over time.

From damp and leaks to changes in condition or upkeep, documenting what’s happening along the way can provide valuable context if questions arise later. It can also help reduce the potential for disagreement when it comes to the end of the tenancy.

And importantly, good reporting protects both sides, giving landlords evidence to support legitimate deductions while helping protect tenants against unfair ones.
