𝗧𝗟𝗖 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘆 - 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝔻𝕖𝕣𝕓𝕪𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕣𝕖 isn't just my favorite bakery, it's the first thing I tell anyone moving to Hilton.

Get their cookie pie, that's genuinely reason enough on its own.

What I love most about this place though is that it actually feels like a community, families looking out for each other, proper warm and welcoming, especially coming from further south where that's not always a given.

f you want somewhere a bit under the radar, Don Amott's café does a brilliant coffee and cake and most people don't even think to go there.

Derby town centre could do with a spruce up, but I'll let that one slide.

Qualities I want for Archie and Jack

If I had to rank the qualities I most want my boys to grow up with, work ethic wins every time.

Without that, I don't think anything else really follows.

Doing the right thing when nobody's watching came in close behind, because that's where you find out what someone's actually made of.

Kindness landed in the middle, though if my wife had been in the room, she'd have had it ranked a lot higher than I did, and fair enough, she's probably right.

It's a good exercise, actually sitting down and working out what you value most as a parent.
