BIRCH POOL RECORD

First visit to birch pool for Peter gooderham and he’s onpy gone and caught the biggest in the lake at a new weight of 37lb 4oz.

What a beautiful fish this is and now they have all finished spawning hopefully they’ll be on the munch.

Great angling Peter what a brilliant start to your 24 hour session.

FISH ARE SPAWNING

ALL LAKES ARE NOW SHUT FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS TO GIVE THE FISH TIME TO RECOVER FROM SPAWNING.

This includes birch pool. Anyone booked in on birch pool over the next two weeks can have a refund or I can rebook you for another date.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but the fish welfare have to come first.

Could you please share this as I am blocked from our main business page and I want this post to reach as many anglers as possible just in case they were planning on coming fishing.

BIRCH POOL

James geddes has just completed his 48 hour session on birch and he managed 4 fish.
All caught on mozzi from big fish baits
And caught using 13mm yellow and pink pop up on Ronnie rigs.

Biggest of the bunch went 23lb followed up with 21lb 17lb & 14lb fully scaled.

Jamie Ryan enjoyed his 48 hour session on birch the last two days. Weather is still weird and temperatures below average for June so fishing has been tough.

Jamie managed to land wang eye who is a cracking fish and she’s come in heavier than the last time caught at 25lb 5 weeks ago so I think she’s holding on to a lot of spawn. 29lb on the scales.

His second fish was 19lb.
Jamie also landed one of the smaller commons and lost another.
Great angling mate.

BIRCH POOL

This weekend see the visit of 3 mates Pete, Melvin and mark all fish birch pool. The weather has certainly been interesting to say the least and it made for tricky and weird fishing conditions but nonetheless the guys got their heads down and caught some cracking specimens.

The biggest of the 3 fell to Pete who landed this cracking 24lb mirror from the fell. Mark also had a 21lb mirror backed up with a couple of the lakes smaller fish. Melvin also caught some of the smaller fish. The bigger carp were very elusive this weekend.

Great angling guys well done.

Last Thursday see the arrival of birch pool regular Paul Crowe and over the weekend jaydon and Ellenor who also are birch pool regulars enjoy some brilliant sport and some stunning fish.

Paul landed 6 carp up to 24lb. Now the spawning on birch is over some fish have a few spawning marks on them but none the less they are still in great condition.
Top angling Paul.

At the weekend jaydon and ellenor had a cracking session landing another 6 carp including the stunning double linear at 22lb and our small common that hardly ever gets caught at 11lb probably the smallest fish in the lake.

It’s great to see the regulars back at the venue catching plenty of fish.
