Soha Housing We're a community-based mutual housing association with over 8,000 homes in & around Oxfordshire.

Our page is monitored during business hours, weekdays 8.30am - 5pm (excluding bank holidays). Soha Housing is a social landlord, providing affordable homes for those who prefer to rent, or can’t afford to rent or buy in the private sector. We manage homes throughout Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and West Berkshire, including Oxford, Swindon and High Wycombe. We pride ourselves on being locally accountable to our residents, the communities in which Soha Housing is located and others who have an interest in Soha’s activities. We put tenant satisfaction at the core of our activities; our 90% overall satisfaction rate puts us among the best performers in the country for tenant satisfaction.

We have a legal duty to carry out an annual gas safety check. We will need access to your home each year and we will be as flexible as we can about making an appointment to suit you. But - you must let our engineer in.

It’s really important that we keep you and your neighbours safe. Unchecked gas appliances may increase the risk of CO poisoning, gas leaks, fires and explosions.

If you notice any problems with your boiler, please call us on 0800 014 15 45 (Freephone).

Become a Member of Soha and - as a thank you for taking part in all our big decisions - your name is entered into a monthly £50 shopping voucher draw. In July we had a winner in Abingdon; in August Beverley in Woodcote and in September it was Jason in Wallingford whose name came up. Congratulations! Talk to us if you fancy being part of the action or check out 'Membership' on our website. It's a significant way to become involved and we're very grateful to our Members.

If you can't make it to our regular neighbourhood drop-ins or aren't home when we doorknock in your area, this might be for you.

On Tuesday 8 September at 6pm you can ask us anything. Whether you're worried about something in your neighbourhood or want to know how we can help if you're experiencing anti-social or unwelcome behaviour. We'd also love to hear your ideas about what would make your community nicer.

Matt Tatum, Neighbourhood Team Manager, Karen Prickett, Community Lead for Vale & West and Aaron Gisbourne, Community Neighbourhood Officer for Henley, will be taking your questions on the day.

Follow the link in the comments for the event link or to leave a question for us to ask on your behalf. We'll get back to you with the answer after the event.
