In 2025 Cameron Properties (Scotland) Ltd were appointed to plasterboard and ames tape this framed out self build looking on to Bealach na Ba by a private client.
A remote project in December with a mono pitch roof rising to 4.4m working height. The client provided welfare facilities, 110V power and took delivery of the boarding which enabled lighting, battery charging and reduced manual handling while a mobile tower was constructed on site.
MRM Joinery & Building Services Ltd were contracted to cut 12.5mm thick Saint-Gobain British Gypsum Duplex foil backed plasterboard hoist into place and fix with 35mm screws driven at 600mm centres by screw gun as well as cutting cement board with a circular saw for interior heating installations.
Cameron Painters & Decorators Ltd were contracted to mechanically tape with scrim tape applied to boxed tapered edge joints, paper tape internals by bazooka and butterfly then apply Trim-Tex corner beads to window surrounds all bedded in Wondertex Premfiller and finished with Knauf blue top.
The client did not require any painting so finishes were sanded by a vacuum dust extraction drywall sander ready for decoration.
