💚 Story Time 💚

Hi, I’m Nicola 👋

I’m one of six (maybe 8) slightly unhinged humans taking on Ben Nevis on the 24th September 2026 in the name of charity 🏔️

I’ve chosen to fundraise for Give a Kidney — a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart and Just Job It's charity of the year, every year - because they are just bloody amazing 💚

Three years ago, I donated my kidney to a complete stranger I found on Facebook. No big dramatic backstory… just one person needing help and another deciding to say “yeah, why not” ❤️

That decision changed someone else’s life forever — and honestly, it changed mine too.

So now, because apparently I don’t believe in doing things the easy way, I’m climbing the highest mountain in the UK with five (possibly 7) other absolute mentalists to raise awareness and funds for a cause that proves ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

While the boys are over in Epworth flexing their muscles on a house move, the Just Job It & CJA Cleaning dream team are busy bringing the sparkle to another trade clean in Chesterfield 🙌

Current office debate... whoever finishes first gets the honour of collecting Tommy from after school club 🎉

At this rate, it's looking like Auntie Char Char's turn again 🤣

From scrubbing up after the trades to hauling sofas, painting walls and tackling those never-ending DIY jobs, there's not much we don't turn our hands to 💪

🚛✨ It's been a bumper month for Just Job It & CJA Cleaning when it comes to trade cleans!

We've been following behind the big guns, swooping in after the transformations and making sure every space is sparkling, shining and ready for handover. A massive shout-out to our heroes at Harris Interiors for keeping us on our toes and our diaries full ❤️

This month alone we've clocked up the miles in: 📍 York 📍 Barnsley 📍 Wakefield 📍 Stockport

At this point, it's safe to say we absolutely love dirt... and apparently we love travelling too! 🤣

We're now patiently waiting for that international trade clean booking to land in our inbox. Before anyone says it... Scotland and Wales don't count! 😉✈️🌍

Until then, we'll keep chasing the dust wherever it takes us!

Well… yesterday's 3hr drive casually turned into a 4hr scenic tour of the UK 🚛😂 but WOW… totally worth it 🙌

The workmanship from Harris Interiors at the Village Hotel Reading is just NEXT LEVEL 🔥

We spent the day wiping, washing and working our magic on every single surface to get this brand new studio ready for its first classes… and honestly, what a space 👀✨

The lads absolutely put a shift in yesterday 💪

We’re talking a mammoth 19-hour day… wheels rolling at 2am and my boy not back through the door until 9pm 🫣 Well done Mason!!

Now, before anyone starts feeling too sorry for them, I’m reliably informed that Mason managed a solid 10-hour kip in the van between jobs, so let’s not get carried away with the sympathy 😆

BUT… it’s now the girls’ turn 👀
We’re heading off on a steady little drive down to Reading tomorrow because this cleaning duo is worth their weight in gold (and cleaning cloths 🧽✨)

Just one small issue 😢
This mystery illness that’s taken me out today needs to pack its bags and leave immediately, because I refuse to be defeated at the mere thought of tomorrow’s job 🫣

🚛 Buckle up… it’s a BIG week for Just Job It!

We’re kicking things off with a proper road trip! Gary & Mason are up at silly o’clock heading all the way down to Torquay 😴➡️🌊
