Glow Spaghetti with Crispy Maple Wasabi Chicken
A neon-green, slightly spicy spaghetti paired with crispy chicken glazed in a sweet and fiery maple-wasabi sauce.
Ingredients
For Glow Spaghetti:
200g spaghetti
½ cup spinach puree
1 tsp spirulina powder (for neon green color)
2 tbsp coconut cream
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lime zest
Salt to taste
For Crispy Maple Wasabi Chicken:
2 chicken breasts, cut into strips
½ cup cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
½ cup panko breadcrumbs
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp oil for frying
For Maple Wasabi Glaze:
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tsp wasabi paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice vinegar
½ tsp ginger powder
Instructions
1. Prepare the Glow Spaghetti:
Boil spaghetti as per package instructions.
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add spinach puree, spirulina, lime zest, and coconut cream, stirring well.
Toss in drained spaghetti, mix to coat, and season with salt.
2. Make Crispy Chicken:
Coat chicken strips in cornstarch, then dip in beaten egg, then in panko mixed with smoked paprika and salt.
Pan-fry or air-fry at 200°C (400°F) for 10-12 minutes until golden and crispy.
3. Prepare Maple Wasabi Glaze:
Mix all glaze ingredients in a saucepan over low heat until slightly thickened.
4. Assemble & Serve:
Drizzle maple wasabi glaze over crispy chicken.
Plate alongside glow spaghetti.
