Geoffrey Sloan Associates Chartered Architectural Technologists and Chartered Building Engineers Geoffrey Sloan started work for the same practice when he left Guildford Tec in 1958.

Geoffrey Sloan Associates was formed in 1977 by Geoffrey Sloan, The practice was formed out of a partnership when the senior Partner retired. We still have two clients from this era, but they are in their third generation. Andrew Sloan (myself) joined the practice in 1986 and now is the principle of the practice.

The middle window is existing (1894) & has been refurbished & the two side windows have been replaced! We have been involved with the Oddfellows Hall since 1955.

Works Started on the Oddfellows Hall, Dorking, Replacement Windows and one re-furbished. The two windows have taken out and in position and the trimming has started. The re-furbished window stripping of paint on going. Good team work all round with Oddfellows Society-Geoffrey Sloan Associates-AJ Construction-Forest Designs. The re-furbished is the original and is dated back to when the building was constructed in 1890. The windows where replaced in 1955 By Arthur's Building sadly not around any more but the scaffolding company are still in business. My Forefather of Geoffrey Sloan Associates carried out the design and over saw the works.

Obtaining commissions is never easy the most efficient are;

•Someone seeing your work and finding out who you are and what you do.

Recently at GSA we have two commissions this week, one from an established client, we have worked with pre-dating before my father started work and contacted me for my advice. Then we received an e-mail from a perennial client after seeing the above barn conversion.
