2000 litre underground lpg gas tank installation complete this week, decided against air source heating due to the high installation cost and relatively poor efficiency during the colder winter months.

Chimney stack number 2 removed this week along with the dividing wall between the lounge and the kitchen,

This open plan area now let’s much more natural light inside. Clear uninterrupted field views from all windows.

Total time including tidying up about 10 hours for 1 man😃

One chimney down, one to go!

This weekend we removed a chimney stack and internal walls from the outbuilding which is joined to the bungalow. This large open space with vaulted ceiling will now become 2 bedrooms plus a en suite bathroom.

More site clearance last week at the bungalow.

Currently on our 3rd skip!

Digging out endless trees✅
Removing old concrete ✅
Removing old patio slabs ✅
Filling in dis used septic tanks✅
Take down oil tanks✅
Level out 25 tones of hardcore for the driveway✅
Lads have been hard at work stripping the internals out- back to brick in places ✅

Now Waiting for layout and building control plans to be finalised due ASAP😍

🍁👀New project starting👀🍁

Detached bungalow 3 minutes drive away from the train station with a main line into london, currently going through different ideas with the planning consultant/architect on which direction to take the refurbishment design & layout.

It features fantastic field views to the front and rear plus a large garden to the side, massive potential!

Really looking forward to getting started and hopefully documenting the process in more detail along the way.

Coming up to a year now since we completely renovated this 1960's bungalow and handed it over to our tenant, The best thing about starting again with the internal fit out of these older properties is minimal maintenance for several years to come.

Kitchen in and tiles on the walls! . Slate grey units with grey oak worktops finished off with white metro tiles on the walls. Second time we have used this same kitchen combination it works well with the spot lights and under unit lighting.
