What a beautiful winter's day it was today and as I was driving to the office, I reflected on what a strange, but brilliant year it has been.

💥 I am ending the year on a high and am looking forward to hitting the ground running in 2021.

😩 Four years ago I was frustrated and unfulfilled.

🔥 Now I have a successful property business, have surrounded myself with fantastic people, have two children smashing it at school, am able to work part time to spend more time with my family and despite the pandemic I was able to enjoy a month in the sunshine at my second home in France in the summer.

🌪 Some say all good things come to those who wait; I disagree, good things come to people who get off their back sides, dig deep when others would give up and work hard with the end in mind.

So we’re in lockdown again; how is everybody ? I’ve used the lessons I learnt in lockdown number one to pivot my property business and have already filled all of my properties as I can’t host holiday guests at the moment. How is everyone else coping ? This is all about positive thinking and opportunity - as Warren Buffet said “Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful”; I don’t like the use of the word greedy, but I think what he’s alluding to is every situation offers opportunities .... let’s be positive and seize those opportunities - if you are feeling down or you are worrying about your business, please reach out to me and I will see if I can help. It would be fair to say that 2020 has been a strange year so far, but like many people it has allowed me time to reflect. Since I started my property business in 2016, I have worked hard to get where I am today. I have sourced 9 direct to landlord properties and now control them without owning them, thus benefitting from the income and cash flow; worked with a number of investors to help them get great returns on their money through property; coached and mentored a number of people in setting up and running successful short stay serviced accommodation and have packaged and sold two serviced accommodation deals.
