The stars, the steam, the silence.
Our wood-fired hot tub sits under open sky over the Mendip Hills, heated the slow way while you watch the light go.
There's no button here. No preset temperature, no instant switch. You light the fire, and the water warms over an hour or so, the way it always has. The waiting is the point. It slows you down before you've even climbed in.
By the time the water's ready, the gorge has gone soft at the edges and the first stars are out over Draycott. Wood smoke on the air. The heat rising gently. Nowhere to be, nothing to rush.
This is what we mean by a slow evening. It isn't something you schedule around. It's the whole plan.
The stars don't rush. Neither does our hot tub 🪵
