In early 2025, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Later that year, I started brachytherapy, a treatment that I found quite effective. Six months later, during a routine PSA level check to see how well the treatment was working, I was so relieved to find that my PSA levels had returned to normal.

I also organised a Golf Charity Day in 2025, and it was a huge success! We raised over £8000.

Now, I’m planning another Golf Charity Day on 20 June 2026 at Whiston Golf Club to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK. This charity is incredibly important because they support research and provide resources for those affected by prostate cancer. The need for awareness and funding is more important than ever, as many people and families are impacted by this disease.
