Very excited.... we've had a very rare cancellation so we're off up to Wagtail for a week. It's going to be gorgeous up there this week. A lovely sea breeze to cool us down. We've got a bit of painting to do but still lots of time for some beach walks to Powellimont.

After a short break in service have now reopened bookings for September and beyond for Wagtail Cottage in Southerness near dumfries, miles of beach, it's the other side of the Solway firth from Cumbria. Far less busy than Lake District but far more scenic in our opinion. Wagtail Cottage. Sleeps 4 welcomes up to 4 dogs. Fully enclosed Garden front & back. Overlooking the beach. lots of good dog friendly walking nearby. Have a look at the website for more information on Wagtail and what this undiscovered area has to offer.

Sea views across the solway firth from the back garden, walks along a sandy beach with (or without )dogs. Theres lots to do in the local area around Southerness, south west coat of scotland.
Wagtail Cottage welcomes up to 4 dogs and sleeps 4 adults.
