Introducing The Bonnie Group Management Team

As The Bonnie Group continues to grow and develop, we are pleased to announce a number of key appointments within our management team.

Donna Welsh – Operations Manager

Donna has been an integral part of the business for a number of years and brings extensive operational knowledge and experience across The Bonnie Group. In her role as Operations Manager, Donna will oversee the day to day delivery of our services, teams and operational standards across the group.

Haig Cloy – Business Development Manager

Haig joins The Bonnie Group with more than 26 years of sales experience within the automotive sector in Dumfries. With extensive knowledge of the local area, a strong commercial background and many years of experience in customer relationships and business development, Haig will lead on new business opportunities and the continued growth of The Bonnie Group.

Angela Longwell – Office Manager/PA

Angela joins the group as Office Manager and PA and will oversee our central office administration, supporting the management team and helping to strengthen the systems and processes required as the businesses continue to expand.

These appointments form an important part of the continued development of The Bonnie Group, creating a stronger management structure and providing the foundations for our next stage of growth.

We look forward to sharing more of our plans and developments over the coming months.

I’m delighted to finally start sharing a little of what I’ve been working so hard on behind the scenes at Bonnie Escapes.

The Gillian Blaylock Mastery Programme starts now, bringing together everything I’ve learned through years of managing holiday homes, guest experience, marketing and property management — but in a much more personal and hands-on way for every owner and every property.

This will all come together with the opening of our new Bonnie Escapes Travel & Visitor Centre Emporium, which will be open by Spring 2027 and will also become a place where holiday home owners can come in, sit down with us and actually talk through their property, their bookings and where they want to take things next.

We will also have a new place for tourists and visitors to the region to come and view just what amazing places and businesses we have in Dumfries & Galloway.

We’ve also brought a new Business Development Manager into the business, who I’ll introduce properly once we’ve got all our ducks in a row!

There is a lot happening, a lot still to uncover, and I’m genuinely excited about where Bonnie Escapes is heading next.

But for now… the Mastery Programme is officially open. ❤️

We are looking for genuinely motivated individuals who take enormous pride in presentation, cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest-ready standards across our portfolio of beautiful holiday homes.

This is not standard domestic cleaning — we are seeking high-calibre individuals with excellent attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently during busy holiday changeovers.

✨ The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have previous housekeeping or holiday home experience
• Have exceptional attention to detail
• Take pride in delivering five-star standards
• Work well independently and within a team
• Be reliable, hardworking & trustworthy
• Understand luxury guest expectations
• Have flexibility during peak tourism periods

✨ Essential Requirements:
• Full driving licence
• Own transport essential
• Must live within Dumfries & Galloway or surrounding rural areas
• Weekend availability may be required

✨ What We Offer:
• £14.50 per hour
• Mileage paid
• Travel time between properties paid
