David McCreadie 3D Measuring and Modelling Ltd is a specialist company providing services to the heritage sector. We capture, process and provide 3D data and imagery to Conservation Architects, Archaeologists, Government Organisations, Trusts and other Heritage Professionals. In the field we use a range of capture techniques including laser scanning, photogrammetry and traditional land survey meth

ods. For surveying large or hard to reach areas we deploy small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) to capture imagery for generating 3D point and vector data.

We really can’t wait until we are able to go and see Limelight, an installation by artists Heinrich and Palmer, commissioned by Trust New Art for National Trust Lindisfarne, Holy Island. Heinrich and Palmer have created an amazing art installation using our 3d laser scanning data showing a unique record of this moment in time in the castle's history. The data captured from the scanning has allowed the opportunity to explore the exterior and interior of the building and its surrounding context in intimate detail.
