We’ve become aware of an elderly gentleman who has unfortunately lost his smartphone. This means he no longer has access to essential emails and his banking app, which has made things very difficult for him.

If anyone has a spare smartphone that’s unused, cleared, and in working order, a donation would make a huge difference to his day‑to‑day life.

Your kindness would genuinely make someone’s life easier.

Cancer is something that has touched the lives of so many, and sadly will continue to be a difficult topic for many families. MacMillan provides vital support, comfort, and care to people affected, and we want to do our part to help.

If you’re able, please come along and support this amazing cause. If you cannot attend on the day but would still like to contribute, we are gratefully accepting store‑bought cakes on the 28th and 29th of September to help raise as much as we can.

Join us for coffee and cake on the 30th of September, 10am–12pm. There will be a £2 entrance fee that will cover the cost of tea/coffee/juice and biscuits on the tables.

Please share far and wide to help us make a real difference.

Win two great guitars. We’re raffling off two guitars, with tickets available from St Mary’s Community Centre. A Harley Benton student guitar for £2 per raffle strip, great for a beginner. And a Dean Dimebag Explorer-style guitar for £3 per raffle ticket, comes with a case and is for a more experienced player. Raffle tickets are available at St Mary’s Community Center and can be paid for by cash. If anyone wants to get a raffle ticket, they can also message us through Facebook.
Raffle will be drawn 30th of September after our MacMillan coffee morning.

Hi everyone,

Here is a reminder of what is happening at the centre now that the schools are back.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you are interested in any activity listed.

Our Family teas will return tomorrow (Thursday 3.30pm-6pm) this is a welcoming group and is open to all types of families. This is free to attend. (Please let us know if you wish to attend so we can buy the right amount of ingredients)

All cafe's will return this week,
Thursday in the Community Church 12-1.30pm (low cost menu items available- everyone welcome)

Friday in the Community Centre, 11-1pm (Donations appriciated-everyone is welcome)

As always, we rent out space in the Community Centre on request for a cost so if you would like to rent a space, please get in touch with the centre driectly.

This morning in the garden, we are sanding down some donated wood to repurpose it into furniture.
And helping hands are appreciated and any thoughts on what we should build are welcome.

We want the garden to be a space for the community to enjoy, please come help us design it 😁
