Just shows how important it is to make sure you are properly insured. You never know what tomorrow will bring. If you don't have mortgage protection and would like more information get in touch.
I was reminded today of the importance of protecting yourself and your family. I was reading an email/message I received in 2021 from a previous client of mine.

You won’t remember me but I just wanted to reach out and say thank you.
You were the mortgage advisor at your move when I bought my first flat. I was 25, didn’t smoke and rarely drank. In the gym several days a week and ate healthy etc. I didn’t believe that I needed mortgage protection insurance but you persuaded me to get it.
When I was 29 I was diagnosed with motor neurone disease - a terminal muscle wasting illness. It’s not genetic and they have no idea what causes it.
Thanks to the mortgage protection insurance my mortgage was completely paid off and I have been able to move to a property which is more suitable for a wheelchair.
If you are still in the mortgage game, feel free to use my story to convince people of the importance of mortgage protection insurance. I’m eternally grateful.
