Project Spotlight – St Andrews

We recently completed a ceiling repair project in a busy solicitors’ office in St Andrews.

Behind what looked like a sturdy plaster ceiling was separation between the timber lath and plaster — the sort of problem that can’t be ignored in a professional building. Thankfully, the ceiling collapsed over a weekend when the office was empty or it could have caused serious injury to a member of staff.

To keep the office fully operational during the week, our team carried out the work over the weekend, carefully dismantling the ceiling, repairing the timber frame, and reinstating everything ready for the working week.

The result is a safe and fully restored ceiling — with minimal disruption to the business using the space.

Tricky Dry Rot contract successfully completed on Hilltown in Dundee recently. Large supporting beam replaced to eradicate the rot and safeguard the structural integrity of the building.
