Please do not pressure wash & paint your roof.
These cowboys are absolute weapons and do not care about your roof.
This is not a long term solution for an old roof.

The swearing was necessary to get the message across to people that don’t know any better.

Just not enough daylight hours lately.

Thank you to all our customers and businesses I’ve been sub contracting too.
It’s been a weirdly slow middle of the year with a fast pace at the start then the last quarter was insane.

Full roof replacement in Thornton.
Tiles, battens , felt & solars stripped back to sarkin boards .
New breather membrane, plastic eaves trays , plastic birds comb , treated counter & tile battens , dry ridge system ,
Marley mendip tile in terracotta and coated as customer request.
Cloak verge was ordered but with this old roof it was running out a massive 95mm from eaves to ridge .
It just couldn’t work out without building out facia and soffits etc to run squint.🙄🙈🤷🏻‍♂️
So we spoke with the customer and decided to fit plastic verge and run the squint tile cuts up the starting edge to keep the roof as pleasing to the eye as possible.

X18 Solar panels were refitted as we tiled the back panel .

I think the end result is fantastic 👌🏻❤️

Old damaged cement ridge replaced to a maintenance free dry system.
With new Brown ridge tiles to blend in better with original roof.
All damaged tiles replaced .
About 30 overall as the roof is old but customer wanted to keep it.

Full roof replacement.
New Spanish slate , breather membrane and copper nails.
X2 chimney removals , facia , soffit & cladding replaced to white upvc.

Deep flow black plastic gutters.
New zinc watergates , valleys , hip & ridge.
Lead saddles and flashing over window.

Skips , scaffolding and toilet all included in my quote.

Another course completed.
Thanks to Kev at Marley Roofing for the in roof solar panel course Today in Glasgow.

I liked this solar system much better than the on roof rails and panels .
It’s so clean and tidy on completion and much safer to carry out.
