Anvil Cottage Due to the Scottish Governments insane changes to legislation surrounding holiday lets we no longer rent the Anvil Cottage.

Beautiful, tranquil But'n'Ben set high on the rocks over looking the Clyde Estuary. Anvil Cottage was originally the anvil shop attached to the blacksmiths home. Saved and restored it's a beautifully compact But'n'Ben with a log burning fire, a single cabin style bed, a double loft bed and a double sofa bed. there's a stunning view from the outside terrace and a, soon to be, fully functioning kitc

hen. The Cottage dates from the 1880's and is always in need of a little something, or at least that's what I say as I paint, sew and lovingly care for this gem on the Clyde. You really can make a good thing better with a little TLC. When you hire the Anvil Cottage for a get away it comes with linen and towels and there's a handy set-back car parking area at the bottom of the rocks. We love to eat in the Villagers Royal along the road and there's a handy village shop nearby. Happy to answer any and all messages so don't be shy!

Anyone who’s stayed at the Anvil Cottage will have more than likely popped into PriceWise and met Brian and his staff.

Last night PriceWise, Cameron’s Dairy, the meeting place and the amazing little craft shop where gutted by fire.

This is a link to the just giving community page, set up to help those devastated by the fire who have seen their hard work, time invested and their savings, literally, go up in smoke.
