Improvements carried out under the Green Deal with outstanding debt are carried over to the new property owner, not the seller of a property. Make sure this is covered off by your Solicitors.

Tenant Tip Thursday!!

Understand your responsibilities.
Make sure you fully read your tenancy agreement to understand what you are responsible for. Garden Maintenance, Blocked drains and tripped fuses can be some of things you may be expected to deal with yourself. Make sure you have the necessary telephone numbers or tools required to carry out these tasks, or if you are struggling call your landlord / letting agent to discuss it.

The Barn part 2.

This week a sneak peak of the old roll top Dutch Barn at the rear of the main barn and a shot of the timber frame going up and the finished end facade. This part of the build was absolutely phenomenal to watch as it was erected in 3 days with being water tight in less than a month..

Tenant Tip Thursday!!

Don’t go mouldy.
You should always ventilate a property to avoid damp and condensation, simply opening a window near drying laundry or using the extractor fan when showering will vastly reduce the chance of mould growth and protect your health. If you see mould growth or damp let your landlord or letting agent know so they can discuss the possible cause and remedy with you.
