Regular periods of silence is relaxing for our busy brains. Incredibly, one study of mice found that listening to silence for two hours every day prompted the subjects' brains to grow new cells in the hippocampus, which is related to our brain's memory abilities! So why not try to include some quiet time into your study routine?

Very little is actually known about his life, but it is thought he was a high ranking officer in the Roman army who was killed in around AD 303. Stories of his strength and courage soon spread throughout Europe ๐ŸŒ

King Edward III made him the Patron Saint of England when he formed the Order of the Garter in St. Georgeโ€™s name in 1350, and the cult of the Saint was further advanced by King Henry V, at the battle of Agincourt in northern France.
