Her dog was barking and lunging at the fence, and she was picking him up and stroking him and telling him it was okay.
She thought she was calming him. She was paying him.
A dog does not hear your words. He reads what happens right after the behavior. Bark, charge, get held and stroked. Do it again tomorrow.

So look honestly at your timing today.
The next time your dog reacts, keep your hands off him. Correct, wait, and stay quiet. Only when his body loosens and he settles does your hand come out.
Affection is not the problem. Affection is never the problem.
The problem is handing it out one second after the behavior you are trying to end.

So today is the first time I've had to mow the field in 8 weeks, it's finally recovered after the drought.

I would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU ALL for picking up after your dogs I didn't come across any Poo parcels, what a great job you are all doing and maintaining the field for everyone to have a great experience.

There is some maintenance work going to be carried out this autumn, general upkeep of the field and topsoiling but it shouldn't affect the sessions you book as I will endeavour to carry out the work outside of scheduled opening times.

So again today I checked the field and was very disappointed to find so many pooh parcels left uncollected!!

I checked the field after it closed last night to ensure that there was no dog mess for todays clients

This is a list of clients who have used the field today if this level of disrespect for Whooffields continues you will give me no choice but to put a 15 min gap between bookings so that I can check the field after your session before the next customer arrives

I do use the camera installed and will be monitoring sessions. In order not to get yourself banned then please pick up after your dog

****It does not record therefore i can’t go thru the days sessions to pin point individual dogs***

The camera is there for security

!!!!!!So a few clients offended so I’ve removed the list! But please everyone monitor your dogs. !!!!!

Just a polite notice!

A few customers mentioning that not everyone is picking up after their dog.

When you use Whooffields Please ensure that you watch your dog exercise and play especially if you have more than one and pick up after them.

I’m sure you would like to experience a clean field on arrival so please be dilligent

The Three Things Every Dog Owner Must Learn
People think dog ownership is about teaching a dog.
Sit.
Stay.
Come.
But the real lesson is for the human.
Every dog owner must learn three things:

How to connect with a dog.
How to communicate with a dog.
How to lead a dog.
Without connection, communication doesn't matter.
Without communication, leadership doesn't matter.
When all three come together, trust, respect, and love become natural.
The relationship becomes easy because the foundation is strong.
