King street in Brynmawr sold and completed to a lovely young chap for his first home. We got on great, had several visits to the property and really got to know the buyer and his family. Really enjoyed my chat with his family member who’ve just moved back to the uk from Australia. One thing they missed, the nice food in the supermarkets at Christmas time. Apparently, you just don’t get that in Australia 🇦🇺

We are out on location this morning, doing some media with Mike from Forrest Surveys. The young apprentice (my son) showed up with his new DJI neo, I think he may be after some work 👀🤦‍♂️ Lots of questions and I think he may have taught Mike a few things too.

Question to me on the way home…… ‘How much do you pay Mike then Dad?’ He then told me he’ll only charge me a tenner a house. At 11 years old, he doesn’t miss a trick.

Michael Forrest he’ll be asking for a summer job next year mind 👀

🥳 Sale agreed on Pennant street (Stc) 🏠

This one was less than easy! 5 viewings in a row booked, pre qualified the night before and no showed on viewing day! The first 5 viewings too 🤦‍♂️ All that effort to clean and present a house, for someone to not turn up! So frustrating for us, even more frustrating for the owner!

We stuck with it, the owner stuck with us, even if they had a wobble just last week 👀, and we got the job done!! Given the stress on this one, I am absolutely thrilled for our vendors and thrilled for our lovely buyer who we agreed a deal with today 😊 All those bloody no shows are soon forgotten 😳😂

Bank of England rate held at 3.75% yesterday. Good news for borrows and house buyers, although we’d all love to see a drop.

The political landscape, particular the troubles in Iran, is causing mortgage costs to fluctuate, but the stability of the Bank of England rate is definitely a reassuring sign.
