We all collectively need to start thinking about how we can save Garnier Hall. The figures are in black & white, and to get the hall open again we need to raise £65,000.

Unfortunately it's not going to be by liking a post, or sharing the attached - it's going to be through fundraising, and parting with hard earned cash - it's as simple as that.

The attached gives you the information you need to think about the difference you could make, whether that's donating, or co-ordinating a fundraising event.

Do you know a local business owner? Could you reach out to them to see if in any way they could support the hall?
Businesses who have already been emailed or written to, and awaiting a response are:
Quidenham Shoot
Forsetti Motorsport (Snetterton Business Park)
Hawthorn Developments (Snetterton Business Park)
Partspak (Snetterton Business Park)
Exertis (Snetterton Business Park)
PDC (Snetterton Business Park)
Sir High Beevor bt
Equipmake (Snetterton Business Park)
Garnier Family
Quidenham Estate

Every little helps!

Has someone lost their cuddly toy at the park today? We are so pleased to see the park being used again! 😊

Help Us Restore Garnier Hall – A Vital Hub for Our Community

The day has come, and we now know fully what it's going to cost to restore the Garnier Hall to it's former glories.

We are reaching out to you on behalf of the Garnier Hall Committee with an urgent appeal for support. As many of you know, Garnier Hall has been a cornerstone of our community for generations — a place where friendships are made, memories are shared, and local events, clubs, and celebrations come to life.

Sadly, Garnier Hall is currently closed due to serious structural and roofing issues. After careful assessments through formal quotes from both local and national contractors, the cost of essential repairs — including preparation, demolition, oversite and slabbing, roof tiling, joinery, wooden flooring, drylining, and labour — comes to £95,000. These repairs are vital to ensure the hall can be safely reopened and continue serving our local residents.

We made significant progress in reopening the grounds for you to use, but now it's time for every single person to step up and help in any way they can. According to the last census (2021) there are 506 residents in the Parish of Quidenham - if everyone could commit to raising £200 either through sponsorship, a charity bike ride/run, hosting a coffee morning, selling unwanted items on eBay/Vinted, getting friends/family to donate we would SMASH the target required. Think outside the box, think do you really want to see the hall back open again?, and if you really do - do something about it.

Whether you are a business, an individual, or a community group, any donation — large or small — will bring us one step closer to reopening the heart of our village. Your support will directly contribute to preserving a space that belongs to all of us and is vital to the social fabric of our community.

We are hopeful that we may be eligible for grant funding, but in order to access this support, we must first demonstrate that we can raise 80% of the required funds — approximately £76,000. This is why we are asking for your help.

How You Can Help:

• Make a donation (details below)
• Sponsor a specific part of the renovation (e.g., flooring, tiling)
• Share this campaign with friends, family, and customers
• Host a fundraising event or initiative that would contribute £200

We are incredibly grateful for your consideration and generosity. With your help, we can breathe new life into Garnier Hall and ensure it remains a thriving space for current and future generations.

If you have any questions, or would like more details on the quotes, or would like to discuss ways you can contribute, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]

We have just been informed of some sad news.
A black-and-white cat has been hit and is now deceased near the old school in the village.
A gentleman has wrapped the cat in a piece of clothing and placed it on the side of the road near Wilby Road.
Thank you and sorry to hear on the loss 😔
