Major new £1 billion hospital planned for east Birmingham and Solihull. Up to 9,000 staff will eventually be employed at the planned new Arden Cross hospital in Solihull.

It will be built at Arden Cross, the new development with 3,000 homes near the High Speed Two interchange station in the borough of Solihull, close to the NEC and airport.

This week at UK Central Property we are looking at a 1ha parcel of land for developing around 40 houses.

We spotted this land when out viewing a buy to let and my years of land evaluation and acquisition for house builders kicked in!!

Since seeing it we now know who the owner is, the current planning status, technical constraints, sales values and much more!!!

More investment into 's public realm has been announced through the Gbslep Growth Hub. Here's how the Birmingham's Southside will look after £9.5 million .

Work starts next month on the scheme to improve the future gateway to the city. The plans build on the city's great and includes better routes for safe walking and cycling between the area and New Street Station, and eventually creating a connection to the HS2 Curzon Station. This will help the city in achieving our clean air targets, and in turn creates a better environment.

The work will be ready for an expected influx of visitors to the city next summer for the Birmingham 2022 .
