As you will be aware, catastrophic disaster struck high in the Himalayas when a glacier collapsed, unleashing devastating floods that swept through villages, valleys and roads within minutes, leaving communities no time to escape.
The death toll now tops 1,000 after the flooding, as the search continues for 4000 others.
Thousands of families are desperately waiting for food, shelter, medical
aid and rescue.
