Artisan’s Rowanbank Gardens Up for Two Prestigious UK Awards!

Artisan Real Estate’s commitment to quality, sustainability and placemaking is being recognised at the highest UK level by our industry peers.

Our groundbreaking Rowanbank Gardens development in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, is up for two prestigious awards at the UK finals of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Awards 2024 in London tonight (Friday, October 4th).

Rowanbank Gardens will be representing Scotland in the Residential Development of the Year category, having won the regional RICS title in June this year - as well as making the UK shortlist for the national Environmental Impact award.

The RICS Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives and developments in land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. They recognise industry-leading achievements and demonstrate the upholding of the highest standards of professionalism and ethics by individuals and teams across the built and natural environments.

We are all naturally excited that our efforts in enabling Rowanbank Gardens to raise the bar for environmental and technical excellence in homebuilding and placemaking are now being recognised at this highest level.

The RICS Awards’ nominations caps off a great awards year for Rowanbank Gardens, having scooped the Apartment Development of the Year title at the 2024 Scottish Homes Awards, as well as being shortlisted for this year’s UK Green Business Awards.

Rowanbank Gardens Celebrates in the Sun as Global Architectural Campaign Praises ‘Interesting and Uplifting’ Design.

Our Rowanbank Gardens development in Corstorphine, Edinburgh had plenty of reasons to celebrate as the multi-award-winning new homes development team invited tenants and neighbours for a unique ‘garden get-together’ in late August.

And this growing sense of community, which lies at the heart of Rowanbank Garden’s design, was further endorsed by a global architectural campaign aiming to make cities ‘more joyful and engaging through the design of buildings.’

Launched in 2023 by celebrated designer and architect Thomas Heatherwick, the Humanise movement highlighted five interesting, contemporary, ‘human’ buildings from around Scotland from which ‘we can all draw inspiration’ whilst visiting the Edinburgh International Book Festival in August. Rowanbank Gardens was the only residential development to be featured in the top five.

Scottish Home Awards Success.

Hot on the heels of scooping the prestigious RICS Award for best Scottish development earlier this week, Rowanbank Gardens has done it again by winning the Apartment Development of the Year at last night’s 2024 Scottish Homes Awards.

Rowanbank Gardens here in Edinburgh has welcomed our first residents – in little more than two years since construction started on the new homes’ development dubbed a ‘spectacular blueprint for low carbon living.’ Almost 80% of the development’s first ‘Appleberry’ homes phase is now sold and occupied, with the next phase due for completion this month.
