You know it’s a good night at when everyone in attendance was so engrossed that they forgot to take photos 🤣

Biggest thank you to .commercial for what can only be described as an audience with Jerry 👌🏻 the quality and depth of information shared in such a short time was unreal and audience participation was on fire also! Everyone came away completely in awe of some amazing big projects but also some really achievable deals showing how to get into commercial!

Massive thanks also to Chris and Belinda who did some great sections on the market and tax updates! Another fantastic event guys!

and I will be back on the 1st June with the one and only , sure to be another fantastic event!

Anyone else ever had a closing date which goes to committee, we experience this for the first time on Friday, so we wait……

This one was a complete mix of using the head and a bit (ok maybe a big bit) of the heart!! It’s genuinely the first property in a looooong time that pulled on our ❤️ strings….

We feel we put in a decent offer, let’s hope we secure it. Despite really loving this one, we still 100% used the head on this, which is really important to regardless of how wee feel about a project! It’s still got to work on a business level! Keep everything crossed guys!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

It’s hard to believe that there are so many empty homes across the UK, in Scotland along, 2018 figures showed that around 39,110 homes had been empty for 6 months or more and 24,471 for 12 months or more…
Often this means properties fall into disrepair, so means this isn’t the type of property that a family can move into without work, this is why we love what we do, finding those properties and doing our best to see what can be done to get them back into use..
If you are out and about and see anything that looks like it may fit that bill, let us know, we offer finders fee’s on any property we end up buying!

Great news on our recent reval, a brilliant example of a investment of ours recently completed revaluation and we smashed it with the final figures!
Good news for our investor who wants to keep going with their investment into future deals, whilst also receiving a nice little payout in the meantime, it’s absolutely all about win win!
Whilst our strategy might be a little different this year, these are the kinds of properties we will always want to add to our portfolio!

Saturday nights, this is how we roll….
After a real good break with the kids over the festive season we are back to it and just about getting over the shell shock of being back to the grind🤣 Honestly, we relaxed our habits a fair bit over the festive season, and how good does it feel to get back into them!
So this eve it’s some number crunching into late evening, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s genuinely is how things have always worked best for us, kids down, and some peace to get things done!
Not convinced this particular deal is the right one for us, but we will keep viewing & working through the process until we get it right!

There is a saying ‘bringing home the bacon’ when business is going well, but when Mr W has a good day, he brings home the donuts 🤪😍

Mindset is so close to our hearts here at HAME, which is why it is always an honour to be able to speak to about all things development related!

If there is one thing we know for sure, it’s that property is a long game and so to stay in it, you need to keep your head in peak state. Not saying it’s going to be like that all the time, sometimes it’s the complete opposite actually, but it’s like showering, you have to keep at it and fine tune everyday!

What a weekend! Spent Saturday and Sunday with the amazing team at sharing such an extensive amount of knowledge with over 150 other investors! Seriously if you want to do anything in life well, your network is your net worth and that couldn’t be more obvious this weekend!

This cracker of a property is about to get a re-val done, literary to the point we were speaking to the surveyor and were about to organise the appointment… so imagine our delight when we noticed this in the kitchen 🤦🏻‍♀️
The joys of property eh, luckily we have identified what has caused the issue and will be getting on to it asap, but a wee lesson in expecting the unexpected, and almost comedy timing!! Onwards and upwards!
