DIRECT SUPPORT FOR UKRAINIAN ORPHANS COMING TO THE LOTHIANS

One of the charities that CBC House supports, Dnipro Kids, have helped orphans in Dnipro for the last 17 years and the chairman of this charity has been out to Ukraine to rescue the orphans from bombing and is currently traveling back through Poland with them.

The charity so far has managed to get 56 people out and 45 of these are children aged between 4-17. Once they are allowed to enter the UK the group will then head to the Lothians & Borders where they will try to get them accommodation and integrated into the community.

Currently the charity is trying to arrange a personalised welcome pack for each child to provide essential wardrobe items as well as toys/computer games/games/sports items etc and will buy them clothing from low costs brands such (Asda, Primark etc.)

We would ask, that if you have anything that you are able to donate to this extremely worthy cause, or wish to make a charitable donation, please can you bring this to reception no later than 10:30am on Wednesday 16th march and we will arrange to transport to the collection point.

The before and after of our latest redecoration project.

Suite 9 is now available on the ground floor of our main building. It is rear-facing with period features and two large windows providing fresh air and natural light. The office comes fully furnished for up to 10 people and we offer Wi-Fi, telephone answering, on-site parking and meeting rooms.

Newly Available Offices.

Suite 8

This spacious 16 person office is available in our main building on the ground floor. It is rear facing and has large windows which ensure plenty of natural light. It features a separate manager's office within and space for a break out area.

Suite 22

This first floor, 7-8 person office in our main building is front facing and benefits from ample natural light. The room can be configured in a variety of layouts and is located in a quiet area of the building, close to a communal kitchen for ease of access.

During this difficult and uncertain time, we appreciate that it’s hard to look for space during the lock down. We would be happy to assist by conducting virtual tours and are happy to offer flexible start dates on licences to commence when life goes back to normal, in the meantime we can offer virtual services such as telephone answering and a registered address.

We currently have three separate offices available within our adjacent schoolhouse building. Whilst still remaining connected to the main building for services and facilities, these offices are slightly cheaper. Our clients enjoy peace and quiet with there being just four small offices in the building.
