HOUSE HISTORIES - How I do them!
After getting address from the client and already having an account with Registers of Scotland, search the sasine and land registry database to finds out relevant ownership details. Go as far back as you can to hopefully find out when the house was built and who built it.
Investigate relevant websites, Scotland's People, Census Records etc and Local History Societies to get appropriate local history.
Research and find historical photography
All sounds easy, if only it was so straightforward !
