Louise's Saturday Share - it's been a four seasons in one day week. Horizontal lashing rain, followed two minutes later with bright sunshine. Lovely walk around The Botanics last weekend. Go and see Earth Matters in Inverleith House. Great exhibition. Team Dickins really excelled, pulling together with buckets of positive energy to get homes perfect for their first summer guests. Even after nearly 30 years, I still feel a lot of satisfaction doing that. In amongst it all, we even managed our first dinner at Dogstar. It was as good as the hype. They make a phenomenal sauce. Great staff too and a relaxed vibe. We loved it. 🥂🤩🥂

My first trip to The Hugo Burge Foundation at Marchmont House on Sunday for their Open Studios. I've wanted to go for ages and wasn't disappointed. It is all so beautiful and very, very impressive. An organisation doing something wonderful, generous and important with a great deal of style. Transforming lives and communities with creativity.

What a special legacy.

The Walled Garden is open on Fridays in the summer through Scotland's Garden Scheme. Find a day to go. You definitely won't regret it. It's a perfect day trip from Edinburgh. 🌱

Louise's Saturday Share - it's full action stations in the office, getting 15 homes ready for summer letting over the next 10 days. Huge effort and positive energy from Team Dickins goes into it all with hopefully a few laughs along the way. You feel done in come 5pm but it's all very satisfying and I'm lucky I still love doing it. 🤩💪🥂

Stunning weather - a sense of joy was bouncing off every blade of grass on The Meadows last night, being outside after work every night, a viral post (people love to see burning!) breaking through 10K followers, Dept Q film crew on Dundas Street, the Joan Eardley exhibition which is so beautiful and Paesano pizza.
