Well made this today at The Arts & Crafts class at Clovenstone Community Centre! It’s provided by funding from Prospect Housing Association and ran by staff from WHALE ARTS! It’s a good way to meet new neighbours and also help them out if they are stuck with things! We are going to be keeping it going at Community Centre when it ends in 3 weeks time! We have people who will start up a walking group, we have arty people (Amanda Menzies), we have a new cook book being published for easy recipes! We will have a table set up where people can bring items along to swap or give away! For instance I have a grey lampshade for the ceiling to put on it! I may have a vax hoover and vax carpet cleaner too! If you have anything you don’t use anymore or bought too many off bring them along, you might pick up something you might need! It’s just a get together on a Friday morning, the chance to catch up and get a cuppa , a wee treat and meet old and new friends!
