HPDM are delighted to have secured planning and listed building consent for our clients today at the PCNP DM meeting for the adaptation of redundant out buildings at Llwyngwair home farm, Newport into three dwellings.
What a challenging site! With 7 species of bats, dormice and Barn owls using the current listed buildings and all set a protected landscape. Huge HPDM team effort working along side our consultants/ experts and officers of the authority. Very proud of the comments received from the planning committee referring to the application as "exemplary". We also successfully challenged the affordable housing contribution.

Our in-house town planner India is currently completing the final parts of her Master's Degree in Town Planning and as part of the dissertation work must undertake an area of research. Her chosen topic is the regulation of agricultural pollution within Pembrokeshire and aims to understand whether or not the new 2021 regulations are causing more harm than good. This research is highly relevant to planning today as we have first-hand seen the struggle it has been to get agricultural projects across the line in recent years.

If you could spare 10 minutes to fill out the below survey to aid in her research, we would be very grateful for your support. This survey is primarily aimed at the farming community within Pembrokeshire but if you feel you wish to add your view from outside the farming community or outside of Pembrokeshire, please don't hesitate to do so.
