Last week, we enjoyed the final beach cricket match of the season - and what a lovely day it was! ☀️ The weather was dry and it was lovely to see lots of locals and visitors gathered on the beach to enjoy the action before the cricket season came to an end.

Did you know that The Ship Inn Cricket Club is known for being the only regular cricket club in the world to play its entire home fixture list on a beach? Pretty special! 🏏🌊

But the season isn’t quite over just yet…this Saturday 19th September, The Ship Inn will host its third annual Beach Polo Tournament, with horses and riders taking to the sands of Elie. And yes, it’s every bit as spectacular as it sounds! 🐎

It’s free to watch, so why not head along and enjoy the action? It’s another brilliant example of why there really is nowhere quite like Elie. 💙
