💛 Today we say goodbye to someone very special.
After an incredible 25½ years with Johnsons, today is Penny’s last day with us before she begins a completely new chapter of her life in Scotland. 🏴
It is genuinely difficult to imagine Johnsons without Penny.
For more than a quarter of a century, she has been part of the fabric of our business. She has grown with Johnsons, from her early days in administration through to becoming our Lettings Manager, and along the way has given an enormous amount of herself to the company, our clients and, perhaps most importantly, the people around her.
Penny’s knowledge and experience are considerable, but it is her loyalty, kindness, care and willingness to help others that we will remember most.
Personally, I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside Penny for so many years. There are very few people who become such a constant part of a business and its story, and even fewer who become such a trusted colleague and genuine friend.
There have been countless changes, challenges, successes and more than a few laughs along the way, and Penny has been there through all of them.
So today is certainly bittersweet. We are incredibly sad to see her leave, but equally delighted that she is beginning an exciting new adventure in Scotland and we wish her every happiness there.
Penny, on behalf of me and everyone at Johnsons, THANK YOU. Thank you for your loyalty, your friendship, your hard work and everything you have done for us over the past 25½ years.
You leave a very big pair of shoes to fill and an even bigger collection of memories behind.
We will miss you enormously, but you will always be part of the Johnsons family.❤️
