I was recently invited to be on the judging panel for the 2023 Impact Awards South West.
The awards recognize exemplary transactions and projects completed in 2022 across the markets and in my case the South West. The winners are https://www.costarimpactawards.co.uk/winners
Congratulations to everyone! In particular congratulations to Exeter City Council and their agents for buying the Guildhall Shopping Centre which was voted the sale / acquisition of the year with the most impact in the South West. A real regeneration and asset management opportunity for Exeter City Centre.

I travelled around recently. What a country! What wonderful people and a cacophony of cultures, languages, wealth and poverty!

The 5th largest economy in the world behind but ahead of the now! Soon to overtake as most populated - 1.4 billion people and lowest GDP per capita!

Massive infrastructure projects including a metro system in which is as good as the Elizabeth Line.

New motorways and roads still have cattle roaming, the odd camel and an array of tuk-tuks, rickshaws and overcrowded buses!

Some pictures of their construction projects. next to the airport and still using for on small to medium sized projects.

Occasionally we saw a hard hat and a high viz jacket!

Great to spend some time with The Tall Ships Youth Trust on their Challenger 4 in Plymouth at the Mayflower Marina opposite Royal William Yard.

Two of their fleet of 4 yachts are in Plymouth picking up kids to go on Explorer voyages. I attended by invitation on behalf of the Northbrook Community Trust & met their CEO and some of the current crew.

What a fantastic charity - it's the oldest and largest youth development sail training charity in the UK. They transform the lives of young people from difficult backgrounds and circumstances and are looking to base some of their fleet in Plymouth for part of the year from where they will go on sailing adventures......

As Pearce Property I have just released my first Exeter Office Market Report! 2020 - what a year! There are a good number of positive takeaways and we are starting to see a bounce back during Q1 of 2021 so my predictions going forward are optimistic.
