Moving home has never been more expensive.
So, we found a way to make the upfront cost of renting easier for applicants while giving landlords greater protection..
We’re often asked:
“How can I make renting more affordable for applicants without leaving myself exposed as a landlord?”
One answer is Reposit.
Instead of an applicant paying a traditional deposit of up to five weeks’ rent, they can choose to pay around one week’s rent upfront — leaving them with more money available for the costs of moving.
But the real benefit is providing our landlord with greater protection.
Reposit can provide cover of up to eight weeks’ rent, compared with a traditional deposit of five weeks.
So, rather than simply being an alternative way for applicants to pay their deposit, it can provide landlords with an additional level of protection.
For us, it’s about looking at the options available and finding solutions that work for both sides of the tenancy.
More flexibility for applicants. More protection for landlords.
Deposit or Reposit — the choice is yours.
