We are absolutely honoured to have been selected by the judges as a finalist for the Small Business of the Year Award at the Exmouth Chamber of Commerce Exmouth Business Awards! 🎉 🎉

This year, we wanted to make a real effort to give back to our town and support the community that supports us.

So far, we’ve:

🎤 Headline sponsored Exmouth Chamber of Commerce events (although that's a story for another time, if you know, you know!)

📚 Sponsored a local school to have their library bus repainted, yes, you read that right… the school has a DOUBLE-DECKER BUS converted into a library! 🚌📖 Such an incredible idea to get children excited about reading and make learning fun.

🏉 Sponsored a local rugby player, helping them pursue their passion.

Of course, the exposure helps us too. But more importantly, it helps other people.

It helps keep children excited about reading and engaged with school. It helps local sports teams and players pursue their passions. And, perhaps most importantly, it helps make sure that local businesses have a bar to go to when watching the eclipse. 😜🍻

Two coastlines. One sea tractor. Zero complaints.

Did you know Devon is the only county in England with two coastlines? The North Coast which is popular for surfing destinations, and tall rocky cliff edges, and the South Cost which has calmer seas, long sandy beaches, which is where you find most of our resorts, spa's and sailing centres.

This weekend, our Managing Director, his son and a few friends headed down to Burgh Island, just off Bigbury-on-Sea (South Coast).

Burgh Island a beautiful little island with a rather glamorous history, not only is it the setting of a number of Agatha Christie novels but, depending on the tide, can either be reached by foot or by one of Devon’s more unusual forms of public transport: the sea tractor.

Naturally, the boys (both young and old) opted for the sea tractor. Because when the alternative is walking, why wouldn’t you choose a giant tractor that drives through the sea?

We’re very lucky to have our team living and working in this part of the world. Why not come and explore it yourself?

Some prefer the big city, we prefer the space. You can keep the Shard, we have a sea tractor. 🌊🚜
