This is exactly why more people are looking at cohousing as a better alternative.

In a cohousing community, residents have more control, shared decision-making, stronger social connections, and living costs that are often more transparent and manageable.

Instead of isolation and corporate service charges, cohousing creates genuine community, mutual support, and dignity in later life.

We urgently need to rethink retirement housing - and it is exactly what we’re trying to do at Cohousing Exeter! 🏡🌟
