Meet Sophie Alway, the incredible woman behind Georgia’s Voice 💜

What began as a single peer support group in Falmouth has grown into a charity providing free support, counselling and a welcoming community for young women across Cornwall.

In our latest Community Conversations feature, Sophie sits down with our founder Phil Gendall to share the story behind Georgia’s Voice and the work they’re doing across the county.

The conversation explores the challenges facing young women today, the impact of social media and the gaps in Cornwall’s mental health services, as well as the importance of community, connection and time in nature.

And, of course, Sophie shares a little about Georgia, whose memory and legacy remain at the heart of everything the charity does.
