A SOLD-OUT evening at The Alverton! 🎉

What a fantastic evening we had last night hosting The Big Landlord Update at The Alverton Hotel in Truro!

With every ticket sold and a room full of Cornish landlords, it was brilliant to see so many people taking the time to understand the changes happening across the private rented sector.

We covered everything from the Renters' Rights Act and the new PRS Database to property compliance, council enforcement and what landlords need to be preparing for next.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions and got involved in the discussions. We know there's a lot for landlords to get their heads around at the moment, and evenings like this are exactly why we believe sharing knowledge and providing practical advice is so important.

A special thank you to the guys at Studio 3, who were there filming the event for us. We're looking forward to sharing some of the footage with you soon!

And of course, a massive thank you to our Lang Llewellyn & Co team, who worked incredibly hard to make the evening such a success.

Most people know their property has an EPC rating from A–G. Far fewer actually look at the rest of the certificate.

An EPC can also give buyers information about areas such as:

• Estimated energy performance
• Heating and hot water
• Windows
• Insulation
• Lighting
• Potential improvements

And with household running costs remaining an important consideration, that's useful information.

If you're selling, don't just know your EPC letter. Know what the certificate says about your home.
