Despite the dreadful weather yesterday, there were over 25,000 participants in the Great South Run, which celebrated its 35th year.

My mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and I were three of those drenched runners who all braved the wet and blustery conditions on Portsmouth's seafront.

A big congratulations to everybody who took part and we are already looking forward to next years event!
