📍Farnborough based📱Free quote 07595 256915 I’ve been working in the construction industry for over 30 years, starting my career at just 16 as a carpenter’s apprentice working for the local council. That’s where I first developed my passion for carpentry and learned the importance of good workmanship, reliability and taking pride in what you do. Carpentry has always been my main trade. I went on to study at college and gained my NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry, but my career has never been limited to just one trade. As part of my early work, I learned to be a multi-trader, which gave me the opportunity to pick up a wide range of practical skills. Over the years, I also developed a real interest in plastering. Rather than learning it from a classroom, I learned the trade hands-on by working alongside different experienced plasterers. That experience has given me a good understanding of both trades and how they work together. After more than three decades in the trade, I still enjoy the work I do. There’s something satisfying about taking a job from the first fix through to the finishing touches and seeing the finished result come together. I started RG Carpentry & Plastering because I wanted to use the experience I’ve built up over the years to provide customers with a service I would be happy to have in my own home — honest, reliable, quality workmanship, with attention to detail and pride in the finished job. I’m a firm believer that your reputation is built on the work you leave behind, and that’s something I take seriously with every job, big or small.
